This stunning winter wedding was near and dear to my heart! 

I met the groom, Riley, in middle school, and always thought him to be one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known. He has always gone above and beyond for his friends and shared his Faith with anyone and everyone. It was so special seeing two people I love officially tie the knot!

My second shooter and I spent the morning with Johanna, her bridesmaids, and all of the women closest to her. She held a delicious brunch for everyone with a very personal touch where each attendee spoke about how much Johanna meant to them. There were lots of tears as she slipped into her stunning wedding dress, and especially at the three first looks she shared with her bridesmaids, brothers, and father. When Riley finally saw her as she walked down the aisle, he couldn’t help it but cry tears of joy. The outdoor ceremony was officiated by Johanna’s father’s best friend, and that made for a lovely and personal wedding celebration. 

After portraits, they had the most epic entrances to the reception space. And finally, everyone got to their feet and danced the night away! One of our favorite parts of the day was their iconic exit. After their sparkler exit surrounded by all of their family and friends, Riley and Johanna left the reception in a vintage police car, complete with the siren and flashing blue and red lights, referencing Riley’s devotion to his beloved job as a police officer! We couldn't have asked for a better winter wedding celebration!
